When deciding on a website many clients are not sure what factors to consider.

If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed by what is required, then here are some guidelines to get your website live. Don’t stress. At Creative Ground we are here to help you develop that perfect site! Here are some things to consider about your website:

#1. Consider who will be using your website i.e: target market, age, Education, Income levels, experience

#2. Consider what it is that you are wanting to advertise or promote. Identify your main goals.

#3. Are you wanting to sell your products online?

#4. Do you require a blog where clients can interact?

#5. What contact information do you want to provide i.e: address, e-mails, telephone numbers etc…

#6. The name for your website. Ensure that it is user friendly, easy to remember and that clients are able to spell it. Your name is critical to your business and ensuring that clients can find you.

#7. What context you would like to place on your website.

#8. Number of pages required and page names

#9. Consider photos, videos, slideshows, downloadable pdf’s – these all go a long way towards getting your point across to the client.

#10. Consider whether or not you want to manage your own website.

#11. Consider appearance of the website and colours. Remember that printed colours are not the same as “website” colours and bright luminous colours are not easily readable on websites.

#12. Once website is live, how will you promote it. Social media is a great inexpensive way for promoting. Contact Creative Ground and we will assist you with inexpensive advertising. We also have a social marketing team that can assist across the board from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and many more.
